19th and 20th home game tourneys

Forgot to post a win of 19th tourney last week. Today we had 20th tournament and I was second this time. Kinda on a hot streak. In the league I have almost 2x points than guy in second place. Most likely 3 places will go to Las Vegas. I was really on a bad run in first 10 tourneys, but made some huge adjustments to my play and it seems they are working...Will try to keep it up to ensure my ticket to WSOP next year.

Yeah...

Not even funny anymore..

Both times same shit. In the same tournament, at the same table. Hands like 5 minutes apart.

I get a monster RERAISE HUGE pre flop, he calls reraise both times. Flop monster, push all in, bcs I know he will chase his draws, of course get called and of course lose. So sick. Had such a nice lead in the tournament, but now I wasted all my chips on him and he gave them away to some other dude like 3 hands after that pushing all in w 77 against nut straight. Awesome.

Edit. Just checked the stats. I think dude needs to quit playing poker.

Ok, sometimes I suckout too...

Some sick ones. The one with K8 was accidental push, but it worked fine.

Losing is like smoking. It's habit forming.

I'm a beast

While dragging the cursor to bet 10 bucks, I drag it all the way to 200 and hit all in button. Awesome. Of course get called by AA.

Then I play some hand and push all in with 109 and get called W AQ board 9728. Of course A hits. Another couple hundred. Only after that hand I realized I was playing against Israel that hand..That totally justifies his all in call.

Went on some sort of the tilt and started playing every hand. What caused a lot of donations. People were jumping up and down in their seats happy to see me at their tables reloading.

I'm such a nice guy. Sharing with everyone.

Life is like a game of poker: If you don't put any in the pot, there won't be any to take out.

Sunday GTD- 9th

Played like shit before final table. Tightened up like a little bitch. Of course, had a legit reason- 4 out of 6 ppl on my table were deep stacks and I was being called anytime with any Ace rag.

Fuck. Better than nothing though.

Aussie Millions- bubble

Same person who had to be out in hand against my A8 vs 62 won the tournament. I did have a few suckouts myself erlier in the tournament, though. But the bad run still continues...

And here we go again

Haven't played online for a while. First tourney busted out w 3 outer. Of course.

WSOP Circuit Events in Hammond, IN

Ok, I gotta went. Big time.

As most of Merge regulars noticed, I wasn't playing any tourneys this month at all. Polayed some in the beginning of the month, then took some break. On top of that WSOP Circuit came to Indiana and I decided to play in few of these events. It's like an hour drive from my home to Horseshoe Hammond casino...

I decided to play in bigger buy in events, since it's less donking going on.

Event #3. I wake up in really good poker mood, get ready f0r long session of poker. Feel so good before the tournament that only at the last highway exit I realize I forgot my wallet with ID. OMFG. I turn around, get back home at around 11.15 am and realize I won't make it back on time since tourney starts at 12pm. Awesome. Instead I go to my soccer game and we get a tough "W"

Event #9. To make long story short, was playing great game, made to second day. 1st place ~56K. 14 get paid. Busted 18th with QQ vs A10 preflop. Awesome.

Since I lost in event #9 and right after that they had satellite to main event. Ok, I register to that one. ~120 ppl made 350+ rebuys. Sick action.

10 Places get a seat to main event. 11th gets $3300. Long story short- I busted 12th w AJ s w Q10. Bubble boy.

Event #12. Prety much was on top of my game. Made some sick calls, played pretty good. Didn't really help.

one of my last hands- I have 18K. Less than 100 ppl left. 36 get paid. Blinds 400-800 ante 100. Raise w JJ 2300. Everyone folds. BB is like 15K deep. Pretty tight guy. he thinks for a second and shoves all in. I played with this guy for a few hours now and I think for a while that this shove doesn't make any sense at all. First instinct- he thinks I'm stealing and he is using his tight image to push me off my bluff. Would not push against me w QQ, KK or AA. Maybe some small pair or worst case scenario- AK. I call. he flips 23 clubs. Tried to make some move.

Flop Ac4cAd
Turn 10c
River Kd

Table explodes in "oh my god", "wtf" and etc.. Nice hand. I have like 3500 left. Double up next hand w 77 vs A4. Funniest thing- lady who called my all in is bitching that she lost that hand. Had 3 outs and didn't hit. And made a speach like I sucked out on her. WTF people are thinking sometimes?

Still on life support. I'm small blind. C/O raises. Button calls. I wake up w AK on SB. I ship it. raiser folds, button calls w 77. I flop the Ace and he starts screaming at the dealer how fucking bullshit it is. Turn brick, river 7. Thank you very much. People at the table feel sorry for my ass, but that doesn't really help me. I shake hands with everyone since the table was very friendly, wish them good luck and pack my stuff.

Congratufuckinglations.

18th Home Game tourney

Made the money, but busted third. AK suited vs JK suited. Great. 3 outer again.
Nothing else interesting happened. Surprisingly played very well tonight. Not every day I can say that about myself...

Some sick action in Chicago Charitable Games

Ok, yesterday went to play in some of CCG event close to my home. I gotta share one hand from that evening.

Cash game 1-2. I'm ~500 deep. One super tight ass raises to 15, I call with AJ off, Loose guy behind me reraises to 45, button calls, blinds fold, initial raiser calls, I'm not freaking folding with so much money in pot. I call extra 30. Pot 183

Flop 10cKdQd. Flopped nut straight.

Check, check, check, button all in 82. Initial raiser calls 82 (he still has ~$200 behind), after thinking for a while I reraise all in, bcs there is a flush draw plus I know the guy on the right will call me anyway, bcs even he is a tight ass, he is a donk and won't lay down any top pair on flop. At the moment I suspect somebody is on set, one of them maybe on A high flush draw, and hopefully somebody has two pair. Guy behind me who reraised preflop is 500 deep and instantly calls my all in. Put him on set of K's.

Pot around $1500. Four people All in on flop. People from all the tables come to our table, even some guys from tourneys jump up to see the action.

ok we flip the cards.

Tight donk has AK (pretty much drawing dead, hoping for chop only). Had ~300 starting the hand.

Me the donk- flip my AJ nuts on flop. ~500 starting the hand.

Loose donk who reraised flips 1010. Set of tens. ~500 starting the hand

Button donk flips KQ two pair. Started ~150 deep.
Ok, in order not to lose, I need to dodge 10, K, 2Q's and whatever hits on turn, so it would pair the board.

6 outs to loose. 4 if A hits on turn. There is possibility runner runner chopping, but I don't really care about that.

Turn 10. Quads. River blank. Loose donk jumps in the air and hits the ceiling with his big head.

I sit down, say Very nice hand and reload. To be honest not even steaming. I knew I was going against at least one set and I knew that I simply need to dodge a few outs to scoop nice pot. Didn't work this time. Some guys were, how the fuck you can be that calm when you flopped the nuts and lost such a huge pot. Answer is simple. That's poker. I learned how NOT to steam after a huge suckout. Not that I don't steam at all, but I can control my emotions much better than a few years back.

Loose donk plays for half an hour, gives some money back to me and stands up. We thought he went home, but it appears that he went to another table, put $200 on table and went $1000+ south.

Thank you very much and have a nice day

Just posted a wednesday post...

.....and got sickest suckout of the day.
I was 3rd stack in $1500, raise w my JJ and get reraised all in by 63 s 4th stack of the tourney, 12 ppl left. Pictures speak louder than words. JJ vs 63 Preflop....
Can somebody explain wtf is going on today?

Quote of the Day

Never give a sucker an even break.

Wednesday... Again ???/!!!!????

This is how I busted out from tourneys today. Is it always on Wednesdays that I can't win hand when I actually dominate...?

16th and 17th home game tourneys

16th didn't even make the money, but 17th was much better. Won that one. Kinda on a roll. The gap between me and second place is getting bigger. Just need to keep it on the same level and I should be fine...Long way to go though. we usually have around 50 tourneys in a league. but so far so good...

WSOP Circuit Is coming to Indiana next week. Now I'm busy not only with soccer, but our basketball seasons started last week aswell. If I will be able to squeeze one or two tourneys in my schedule, would be great. Would be great to play in couple tourneys at least...

MTT Leaderboard Grand Final

Finally I got to play Leaderboard Grand Final tournament. Was always too busy with my soccer or some other stuff and never played in that one without anyone disturbing me.

Did pretty well, but got busted 4th on a coinflip. QQ vs AK. Technically I wasn't busted on that hand, but with 7K in chips and big blind 4k, I got kicked out on my BB. If that coinflip would of been mine, I really would of known how to use those chips to my advantage...Oh well. Maybe next time

Bad Beat Jackpot Pays Pays Twice In 10 Days - $771,809!

From pdcpoker.com forum

Posted By Liam:

Who said lightning doesn't strike twice? After just 10 days since the Rue St. Catherine Bad Beat Jackpot table paid out over $604K and $211,738.51 just to Baseball127, it's happened again! This time it was Quad King's being crushed by a Royal Flush of Spades.Congratulations to Rangerjay1 who's Quad King's may have lost him an $80 pot, but won him a $58,456 Jackpot. Callmeguys' Royal Flush netted a cool $29,228.46 and $80, plus $4,175.49 for 7 other players. Total Bad Beat Jackpot payout was $167,019.80.

Sick sick sick. One thing I know for sure. If I take a little break to do something else than playing poker, the jackpot always hits. Wednesday was really sick day with suckouts left and right, so I decided not to play on Thursday at all. And here you go...That's for the third time now. Damn...

Quote of the day- Personally think this is the funniest one ever

Dear Lord, help me to break even. I need the money.

Wednesday- crazy day

This is how I got busted from the tournaments that night... All these were all ins preflop. Gotta love the one who called with 95 s...All I'm asking poker gods just so my cards will hold... All I need. If I will be behind, oh well, I don't need to catch my cards... As long as if I'm behind they won't catch their miracle cards...
I def would make that deal...

15th Home game tournament.

5th out of 23. Last in money. Still money, though. Busted out KK vs AJ. Turn A killed me. However I did suck out myself couple times late in the tourney. Once A3 vs KK when turned trips 3's and the other one AJ vs AQ when caught runner runner straight. So, Can't be too mad about getting busted out by 3 outer, when I actually did suck out myself couple of times...

Still first on Leaderboard..
