Another Student shows some promise

Here is email I have received from one of my students- "KingMarlo"

"Hey David, just wanted to show you the results from 5 games yesterday - my first tourneys played after working with you. The only one I didn't cash was a bad beat right before the money (AK lost to AQ) otherwise easy cash too. Implementing some of you methods/thoughts already paying off. Thanks again!

andrew"

I'm really glad for guys like him. Andrew is really nice guy and I hope with my help he was able to improve his game a little bit.

I can promise, soon you will see him climbing to top of the leaderboards.

Good luck at the tables, KingMarlo.

Сonceit is your enemy.
You teach others because of your vainglory.
Your teaching will decrease your roi and roi of all regulars, it is little bit stupid, dont you think?
Dont be on way of self-destruct.

Next time have some balls to login before you post a comment.
And no, I don't I really care about decreased ROI of other regulars.
But thanks for your concerns.

Hi again!

Example 1:
We play heads up, i am fish, you are good player
For example my EV 20%, yours 80%
After match i buy your coaching, and EV now for example 35/65 + N% one-time from your coaching. This is ONE-TIME profit for you, and 35/65 FULL-TIME after coaching = you really lost your full-time EV.

Example 2:
We regularry play MTTs
for example 50% fishes and 50% profitable regulars
And 10 fishes buy your coaching.
After coaching MTTs field will be for example 40% fishes and 60% profitable regulars. You, of course, got your one-time profit.
BUT proportion 40%/60% full-time now.

= you made one-time profit, BUT huuuuge full-time -EV for yourself.

Tell me, is this really smart?
I am seriously, I think you made huge mistake.

GL anyway!

You do realize that if a person will want to find somebody to teach them, they will find one? And it doesnt matter if it will be me or somebody else.

I am not scared to teach some guys, just bcs my opposition might be tougher.

I will be glad if they will remember who was their teacher, once they will get really good. And I am proud of all my students...

So you can do whatever math you want, I dont really care. As long as I can make somebody better in poker, I will be happy.
